Job Title: Senior Kitchen Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Kitchen Coordinator to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation while ensuring efficient kitchen operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Chef de Partie Management: Supervise and train junior staff members in preparation and presentation techniques, promoting consistency and excellence in all dishes.
  • Mise en Place: Plan, organize, and execute mise en place procedures to ensure timely completion before operating hours, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols (e.g., HACCP) and hygiene standards, guaranteeing a clean and safe working environment for all staff.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain consistency in taste and presentation, foster a positive team environment, and contribute ideas for menu improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Identify and report any equipment maintenance issues promptly, ensuring seamless kitchen operations and minimizing downtime.
  • Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times, adhering to kitchen standards and contributing to a productive work environment.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years proven experience as a CDP or Demi Chef in Western cuisine, preferably in a bistro, steakhouse, Italian, or modern European setting.
  • Skill Set: Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Physically fit, able to stand for extended periods, and possess a valid food hygiene certificate.
