As a Senior Lighting Designer for Large Scale Architectural Projects, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and functional lighting designs for various architectural projects. Your primary goal will be to deliver high-quality designs that meet our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate expertise in light design within the architectural context to ensure seamless integration of lighting systems into building structures.
- Develop comprehensive lighting designs incorporating Lux calculations, product brochures, cut-sheets, renderings, AutoCAD drawings, specification sheets, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Transform concepts into detailed schematic designs using CAD software and technical specifications to guarantee precise implementation.
- Collaborate closely with clients to co-create innovative facade, interior, and landscape lighting concepts.
- Provide accurate budget and power consumption estimates to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Represent the company at meetings and design workshops with clients and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
- Analyze large-scale floor plans and calculate lux levels to guarantee optimal lighting solutions.
- Multitask across multiple projects, working independently to manage project administration, including project logs, document registration, and filing according to established documentation standards.
- Effectively manage time constraints related to project deadlines, deliverables, and meeting scheduling.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in lighting design or related disciplines.
- Advantageous experience on large-scale architectural projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, DiaLux/DiaLuxEVO, AGI32, AutoCAD 2D/3D, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
