Job Overview

As a BIM Modeller - Creative Design Specialist, you'll play a key role in our Buildings business, working closely with highly skilled specialists to bring ideas to life for clients across various building projects.

You'll be responsible for producing and supervising coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and creating detailed 2D CAD general assemblies while mentoring junior CAD employees in Revit/CAD.

This position requires a strong understanding of Autodesk software, including Revit, Navisworks, and CAD, as well as excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Revit/CAD technicians and collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to produce high-quality BIM models and drawings.
  • Produce Revit models and CAD drawings for all design stages, ensuring compliance with AURECON's quality control procedures and authority requirements.
  • Drafting and detailing for Mechanical & Electrical elements.
  • Prepare drawings and models for authority submission, adhering to BCA's templates and requirements.
  • Multidisciplinary BIM coordination and collaboration in a 3D environment, implementing relevant codes of practice.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-10 years of practical experience with Autodesk Revit.
  • Diploma in BIM Design preferred; Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Construction/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering mandatory.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional preferred, with ongoing advanced training in the latest Autodesk BIM software and applications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Autodesk CAD, and REVIT, Navisworks, Autodesk Cloud Construction, and BIM 360.
  • Knowledge of Ideate, RTV Tools, and Dynamo an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated understanding, initiative, and proactive approach to digital delivery, with well-developed communication skills and ability to lead, train, and coach a team effectively.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
