Software Developer Position

Job Title: Senior Application Developer.

About the Job:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development, with experience in Java and Cobol programming languages.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and design solutions that meet client needs.
  • Develop and implement software applications using Java and Cobol programming languages.
  • Work with database administrators to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in application development, preferably in Java and Cobol programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript and React for front-end development.
  • Familiarity with VBA and Excel Macros.
