Job Title: Senior Structural Engineering Professional

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineering Professional to join our team as Qualified Person (QP). As QP, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers to ensure safe structural design and excellent delivery of service to clients.


About the Role

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for PE endorsement for projects assigned. You will lead projects, attend meetings, supervise and inspect construction works, manage technical/site staff and administrative functions of the projects, and provide guidance to engineers in the team.

  • Serve as Qualified Person (QP) and manage a team of engineers
  • Responsible for the profitability and cost efficiency of your team
  • Project coordination/management
  • Lead projects and attend meetings
  • Supervise and inspect construction works
  • Managing and supervising technical/site staff and administrative functions of the projects
  • Provide guidance and manage engineers in the team
  • Able to be hands-on to carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works
  • Able to coordinate with various stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and contractors

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering or its equivalent
  • Local design experience in C&S engineering work & conversant with Singapore Building Codes and Practices
  • Familiarity with engineering software (e.g. Tedds, StaadPro, Prota, Etab)
  • Strong report writing skills to prepare and furnish reports
  • Registered with Singapore PE Board as Professional Engineer
