Quality Assurance Specialist in Aerospace Engineering

The position involves providing technical assistance to ensure product quality acceptance and compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

  • Technical Assistance
Responsibilities:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required standards of quality. This includes working closely with customers, vendors, and suppliers to identify areas where improvements can be made.

  • Providing technical support to internal stakeholders
  • Liaising with customers and vendors to resolve quality issues
  • Conducting internal audits to evaluate quality systems and processes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of quality systems and processes. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of experience in QA in a precision manufacturing environment
  • Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant certifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills and Qualifications:

  • Aerospace engineering principles
  • Quality management systems
  • Problem-solving tools such as FMEA and 5-whys methodology
  • Lean manufacturing principles
