Physiotherapy Assistant Professional

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients. The Physiotherapy Assistant will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide support in the delivery of physiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities as directed
  • Monitor patients during therapy sessions to ensure safety and correct technique
  • Provide support to patients with mobility issues, including transferring them to and from treatment areas
  • Set up and prepare treatment equipment, such as ultrasound machines, TENS units, and other modalities
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment progress and session notes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or certificate in Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Assistance, or chiropractic
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy equipment and techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and assist with physical tasks
  • Compassion, empathy, and patience when working with patients experiencing pain or mobility challenges
