Job Summary

Working closely with the residential care team, you will provide high-quality casework and counseling services, while also contributing to the development and implementation of effective care plans.

Casework and Counselling
  • You will offer expert casework and counseling services to residents and their families, identifying and assessing risks, and developing and implementing effective care plans.
  • Collaborating with the residential care team, you will ensure that all activities and programs are trauma-informed, meet and exceed standards of care, and align with international best practices.
Home Management
  • You will work closely with the residential care team to ensure that all activities and programs are guided by the mission and values of the Children's Aid Society.
  • Participating in behavior management processes, you will contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
Groupwork and Other Programmes
  • You will participate in client/community assessments, group/community work processes, and specialized intervention strategies, working collaboratively with other social care team members to develop and implement relevant programs.
Advocacy
  • You will represent the Home in its advocacy efforts, advocating for the rights and interests of our residents, and building relationships with community partners to promote positive outcomes.
