We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team in Singapore.

As a Service and Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing bench fitting repair on aero engine hardware, meeting drawing specifications requirements using various air tools and shop equipment, and ensuring that work carried out meets the required quality as stated in the respective manuals and technical documents.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and good problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • You must be able to interpret blueprint drawings and use aircraft component manuals and/or publications.
  • Good understanding of 5S and TPM concepts is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform bench fitting repair on aero engine hardware in accordance with approved manuals and repair documents.
  2. Meet drawing specifications requirements using various air tools, shop equipment, and hand tools.
  3. Inspect finished product.
  4. Ensure that work carried out meets the required quality as stated in the respective manuals and technical documents.
  5. Practice 5S principals and maintain work area for operation and cleanliness.
  6. Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Min 3-5 years bench fitting experience in various aero-engine parts.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Committed and willing to work in bench fitting environment.
  • Good understanding of 5S and TPM concepts.
  • Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Experience and understanding of Six Sigma and Lean tools will be an added advantage.
