Senior Biotechnologist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biotechnologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life sciences and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

The Senior Biotechnologist will be responsible for designing and validating new experimental techniques, adhering to rigorous quality control standards, and ensuring the integrity and purity of cell cultures.

The successful candidate will lead and support operations involving DeltaV and DCS Logics, including handshake protocols and prompt configurations. They will also manage and optimize Batch Recipe inputs for efficient bioprocess execution and execute and optimize chromatography techniques in a downstream processing capacity.

In addition, the Senior Biotechnologist will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with SOPs and process documentation, contribute to the development and refinement of technical workflows and automation strategies, and ensure compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant life science field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biochemistry)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in biotechnology or biopharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Great team player
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop close working relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels
