Childcare and Language Educator Opportunity

The role of a childcare and language educator is multifaceted, requiring the ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. This entails maintaining a clean and secure space that encourages comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and care for a class of children, ensuring high-quality learning takes place through various educational methods.
  • Maintain professional communication with colleagues regarding children, parents, and other staff members.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of classroom management, including organization and record-keeping.
  • Observe and document children's development, keeping accurate records of achievement for each child in your care.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents and guardians, fostering open communication and cooperation.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Teachers must be able to deliver English Language lessons effectively.

Requirements:

  • Hold at least one of the following Early Childhood certifications:
  • Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
  • Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC)
  • DPT/DPL Certificate (L1 or L2)

L2/L1 Certified English Language Teacher

(DPT/DECC/ACEY Trained)

L2 Certified Chinese Language Teacher

(DPT / DECCE - Mandarin Language)

Registered with ECDA as EY1 or EY2 or L2 or L1

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Fresh graduates are welcome; ability to commence work soon is preferred.
