Data Centre Maintenance Role:

This role is responsible for maintaining the Data Centre facilities with the objective of achieving uninterrupted availability at all times. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Facilities, Data Centre and will be responsible for supervising vendors carrying out maintenance and repair works in the building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise vendors carrying out maintenance and repair works in the building.
  • Carry out daily equipment inspections and checklists verification.
  • Ensure that periodic maintenance works are executed satisfactorily and in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Correct and timely provisioning of power and racks for customers.
  • Process billing of completed Customers Service Requests.
  • Accept and process Equipment Delivery notices from Customers.
  • Prepare customer monthly progress report and track status of deliverables.
  • Consolidate, compute and process billing of monthly utility bill.
  • Deal with Customer requests/complaints in an appropriate and efficient manner or otherwise escalate to the next level of authority for proper action.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Integrated Facility Design & Management or relevant discipline. Relevant Data Centre Training such as Uptime Institute, DCD, EPI or CNET Data Centre courses would be advantageous. At least two years of experience in working in similar role in critical environment facilities is required.
