Geospatial Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geospatial Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our geospatial development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level GIS solutions using ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise platform.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in GIS development and spatial data analysis, with experience working with FME Desktop and FME Server. They will also have a solid understanding of REST APIs and web mapping technologies, as well as experience with agile development environments.

In this role, you will lead the development and customization of GIS applications, design and implement FME workflows, develop and maintain REST APIs, and optimize spatial queries and improve performance of GIS services. You will also provide technical leadership in geospatial architecture decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality GIS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and customization of GIS applications using ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise platform
  • Design and implement FME workflows for spatial data transformation and integration
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs for geospatial services and clash analysis using ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise platform
  • Optimize spatial queries and improve performance of GIS services
  • Provide technical leadership in geospatial architecture decisions
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in GIS development and spatial data analysis
  • Strong expertise in ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise suite, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Enterprise SDK, and ArcGIS Pro
  • Extensive experience with FME Desktop and FME Server
  • Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs for spatial services
  • Strong understanding of spatial databases (Oracle Spatial, PostGIS)
  • Basic experience with Python scripting for GIS automation
  • Knowledge of web mapping technologies and standards (OGC)
  • Experience working in agile development environments
