Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Technical Operations Manager to oversee our regional fleet's maintenance and repair work scopes, ensuring they align with global standards. This role involves collaborating with our Chief Engineer and Vessel Manager to drive technical assurance and optimize vessel performance. If you have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience as a Chief Engineer or Technical Superintendent, we encourage you to apply.

Salary and Benefits

This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary ranging from SGD 120,000 to SGD 180,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to ensure regional availability of marine technical assurance.
  • Assist in establishing and executing maintenance and repair work scopes in line with set global standards.
  • Advise the Vessel Manager on the technical status of the vessel and budget requirements.
  • Ensure up-to-date emergency docking plans and documents.
  • Conduct annual technical reviews of vessels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with Maintenance and Reliability Engineers to maintain planned maintenance systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Chief Engineer or Technical Superintendent.
  • Valid BOSIET certification and ability to obtain OPITO-approved training as required.
  • Frequent travel around the world is expected.
