Procurement Specialist

We are a leading global food supply and distribution platform. Our mission is to provide high-quality ingredients to businesses, including hotels, catering chains, and institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and manage fresh produce and standard food products, selecting the right product mix for different business needs.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier portfolios, negotiate purchase prices, and ensure competitive retail pricing.
  • Explore wholesale markets and manufacturer resources to develop new product lines and complete procurement tasks.
  • Design warehousing and distribution solutions to reduce losses and optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends to control purchase/sales prices, plan promotions, and achieve category sales and profit targets.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in food supply or catering industries.
  • Strong knowledge of local supplier networks and wholesale markets.
  • Skilled in price negotiation, order management, supplier development, and cost control.
  • Proficient in data analysis and computer applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, to effectively liaise with suppliers.
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
