We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Deputy/Assistant Manager, AVPO (Strategy & Policy). In this role, you will play a critical part in spearheading the national effort to deploy autonomous vehicles (AVs) across various platforms.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement policies, strategies, legislative and regulatory frameworks necessary to support the AV deployment roadmaps. You will also review and provide recommendations on existing policies, legislation and frameworks to ensure continued relevance and alignment with national objectives and priorities.

Key responsibilities include assessing and project managing AV deployment and trial requests, monitoring and reporting progress, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Policy, Arts and Social Sciences, Law or related fields; preferably with knowledge in Engineering, Technology Management or related areas
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, policy development, or strategic planning
  • Prior experience in working on policies, strategies, legislation related to emerging and new technology areas
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with different stakeholders and work in cross-functional teams
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in conversing, reading and writing in Mandarin would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated systems thinking with the ability to synthesize complex information to provide clear recommendations
  • Ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders, with skills to listen empathetically, sense dynamics, collaborate to achieve desired outcomes, and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
