AV Equipment Specialist

The main objective of this role is to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of all Audio-Visual (AV) equipment in various settings.

  • Set up AV systems for events and functions, ensuring that they are properly configured and functioning as expected.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on AV hardware and software to prevent breakdowns and maintain their optimal performance.
  • Manage the inventory of AV equipment and software, including monitoring stock levels and ordering replacements or upgrades as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of standard classroom AV equipment to identify any issues or potential problems.
  • Provide training and support to staff and students on the use of AV equipment and software.
  • Assist with photography and videography tasks, using AV equipment to capture high-quality images and footage.
  • Support the deployment and management of Personal Learning Devices (PLDs).

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a log of repairs and services, assisting in the procurement of AV equipment and consumables, and performing other duties as required.
