Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance on civil and structural engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil/structural engineering, with at least 4 years of experience in site supervision. They will also possess excellent communication and coordination skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical leadership and guidance on civil and structural engineering projects
  • Liaising with main contractors engineers/supervisors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Assisting qualified persons (QPs) on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
  • Monitoring progress and assisting QPs on structural inspection
  • Checking and monitoring structural and architectural works according to contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements
  • Providing standing supervision for construction of civil and structural works in accordance with project specifications, construction drawings and building control act and regulations
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Registered with IES (Institution of Engineers Singapore)
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • At least 4 years of experience in site supervision of works
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in infrastructure supervision
  • Conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes
  • Excellent coordination skills, self-motivated, proactive and team player
