Job Description

As a Senior Construction Manager, you will assist the Principal Project Manager (PRPM) and Senior Project Manager (SPM) in the day-to-day management of contracts. This involves advising on-site quality and safety issues, determining non-conformances, and liaising with contractors to rectify these issues.

You will be responsible for ensuring that decisions on-site are conveyed to the contractor within a reasonable timeframe and that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings, and programme without compromising on quality and safety.

Additionally, you will provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM on quality and safety matters, suggest quality improvement measures, supervise the installation of instrumentation, and lead a team of supervisors to ensure full-time supervision of works on site.

Assisting in the operation of the PMCC is also a key responsibility of this role.

Requirements
  1. A minimum degree in Civil & Structural engineering
  2. At least 2 years of experience in viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel construction in a project/construction environment
  3. Proficiency in relevant software programs for planning and project work
  4. Proactive team player with good analytical and communication skills
  5. Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design is an advantage
