Transaction Monitoring Specialist

Job Description:
The role involves collaborating with seasoned professionals in Anti Money Laundering models to enhance their functionality.
This entails developing, refining and implementing various model-based solutions to combat financial crime.
Also, contributing to Book of Work planning and Model Validation activity lifecycle by delivering model-specific tasks effectively.
Key responsibilities include interpreting financial/payment data across different lines of businesses, understanding red flag guidance provided by regulatory bodies and devising risk modeling options to optimize transaction monitoring models.
Additionally, a good understanding of end-to-end model life cycle is necessary as well as experience in Machine Learning and AI models.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced University degree (Master or Ph.D.) in STEM fields
- 5+ years of quantitative model development or model validation experience in financial services, risk & compliance domain
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify risks and opportunities
- Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills
