We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Leadership and Operations Specialist to join our team at Recruit Express Pte Ltd. As a key member of our Allied Health department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and operational expertise in physiotherapy services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy, with experience in clinical duties, education, and training. You will be responsible for leading and participating in client review meetings, recommending discharge and continuity of care plans, and facilitating community integration through collaboration with community partners. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to the development of the department, participate in research and quality improvement projects, and provide training and mentorship to therapists and support staffs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or participate actively in Client Review meetings with other team members
  • Recommend discharge and continuity of care plans that address clients' physical health, psychological, social, and emotional aspects in consultation with relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate community integration through collaboration with community partners when required
  • Contribute to the development of the department, including keeping abreast with advances in the profession and contributing to research and quality improvement projects
  • Provide training and mentorship to therapists and support staffs, including regular communication and case discussion
  • Plan and deliver training to volunteers
  • Conduct regular reviews on therapist's clinical competency and provide constructive feedback
  • Mentor therapists and support staffs on ongoing professional development and opportunities for courses, workshops, seminars that enhance their knowledge and skills
  • Conduct staff appraisals and staff development plans
  • Manage minor staff conflicts or disciplinary issues
  • Cover the duties of other Physiotherapist in the Allied Health team within the organization
  • Provide statistics and reports (e.g., workload, manpower, incidents, budgeting) to Head/Lead/team in-charge
  • Manage feedback from various stakeholders
  • Oversee inventory management processes and coordinate rosters of AH team
  • Conduct clinical and compliance audits for upholding care standards and practices
  • Assist in the implementation and promotion of new clinical services
  • Monitor individual and/or team's clinical and non-clinical key performance indicators
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in physiotherapy with experience in clinical duties, education, and training
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and accountability
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
