Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Process Technician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute operational activities and autonomous maintenance (TPM) activities, including the cleaning, setup, and operation of a variety of equipment in compliance with cGMP, quality & safety requirements to achieve operational objectives.
  • Conduct training for new employees and lead a small team to meet production targets at a specific area.
  • Complete required training (e.g. cGMP, safety and work instructions, Autonomous and/or Operational Maintenance (AM/OM), etc.) within a stipulated time frame.
  • Ensure employees follow safety, quality requirements, and all applicable company policies at all times.
  • Undertake safe and correct handling of tools in accordance with their intended use and operating procedures to complete planned schedules for Equipment Maintenance.
  • Interpret engineering safety and safeguarding practices.
  • Able to read and interpret Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) with guidance.
  • Identify types of hazards at the workplace.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain cleanliness (6S) of the working area.
  • Able to use problem identification techniques to recognize issues within the work area and escalate any concerns.
  • Meet daily production schedules, performance expectations, and equipment efficiency, factoring in equipment availability.
  • Able to take on additional tasks or responsibilities when required.
  • Competent to complete routine tasks in assigned groups, including all relevant autonomous management activities, with some supervision.
  • Able to support troubleshooting on common issues associated with products, processes, and equipment.
  • Improvement work: Participate in process improvement teams within the same shift. Apply continuous process improvement to workplace activities as well as follow-through on improvement activities.
  • Incident investigation and reporting: Assist in incident investigations. Able to provide a general written account on the overview of the incident with broad supervision.
  • Work in a team to meet daily production targets under some supervision.
  • Apply workplace learning techniques to enhance employees' development with some guidance.
  • Be a role model for junior members.
Requirements:
  • Have a good understanding of Manufacturing/Enterprise systems/Manufacturing IOT and automations.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, Quality, work safety instructions & practices at all times.
  • Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • High level of discipline and integrity.
  • Able to undertake multiple tasks.
  • Able to undergo job rotation/cross training.
  • Able to work in a manufacturing production environment, including cleanrooms, with possible exposure to chemicals, cold rooms, loud noise, etc.
  • Able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Able to operate equipment and machinery such as forklifts, scanners, power tools, etc.
  • Must be able to identify different colors for work purposes.
  • Possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency.
  • Meticulous, keen attention to details, and organized.
  • The candidate must be able to work 12 hours (from 0800 to 2015 for the day shift and from 2000 to 0815 for the night shift) rotating shifts (4 monthly rotations from day to night and vice versa) with staggered break times in accordance with the roster.
  • Able to work standing for prolonged periods without sitting.
  • Able to lift 15kg or less of heavy weight safely.
