Pricing and Valuations Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • A Valuation Specialist leads the valuation oversight of investments ensuring they are marked at fair values.

  • This entails overseeing the pricing and valuations activities of service providers, reviewing valuation methodologies and recommending changes as necessary.

  • Responsibilities include Reviewing and continuously improving pricing and valuation controls and processes, reviewing valuation methodologies across all asset classes for consistency and recommending changes where necessary.

  • The successful candidate will also ensure that investments are always marked at fair values by collaborating with Operational Due Diligence (ODD) and Private Assets Investments teams.

  • Additionally, this role requires resolving valuation exceptions and queries as the Valuations Subject Matter Expert.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or Financial Engineering is required.

  • At least 8 years of experience in pricing and valuations of public and private assets is necessary.

  • Relevant experience in developing and implementing risk monitoring frameworks is a plus.

  • Good working knowledge of funds vehicles, particularly Luxembourg SICAVs and Singapore VCC, is beneficial.

  • Product knowledge of Private Assets, Fixed Income, Equity, Mutual Funds and Derivatives is a must.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential.

  • The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as be a team player.

  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines are necessary.
