Role Overview:

The Civil Aviation Authority's core purpose is to develop Singapore's air hub and aviation industry, expanding the nation's links to the world.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the team, you will primarily focus on ensuring the safety oversight of flight crew regarding personnel licensing and training.

This entails developing and reviewing policies and procedures, and promulgating rules and guidance materials related to training methodologies leading to the qualification of flight crew, instructors, and examiners, as well as approving and overseeing flight training organisations.

Duties also include the surveillance of flight training organisations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as conducting investigations into pilots involved in incidents and accidents.


Requirements:

Good interpersonal and analytical skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing

Preferably with experience in civil aviation management, flight operations, regulatory work, or in-flight training

Candidates with flying experience will have an added advantage

RSAF officers or overseas applicants with relevant experience in flight training or as a pilot may be considered

Appointment designation will be commensurate with relevant work experience

Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract initially and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal
