Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled data engineer to join our team.

  • Design, implement and maintain high-performance, scalable and secure data architectures
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Develop data pipelines and workflows using ELT principles and PySpark/Hadoop

The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on ELT and PySpark/Hadoop workloads. They should have a strong understanding of data governance and security best practices, as well as experience managing and mentoring data engineers.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired skills include experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive and Kafka, data warehousing and data lakes, DevOps and MLOps practices, data science and machine learning, streaming data processing, real-time analytics, data visualization and reporting tools.
