This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Power BI Developer. As a key member of our digital solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive, user-friendly Power BI dashboards based on stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highly interactive and informative Power BI dashboards that meet stakeholder needs
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Work closely with data engineers to integrate transformed data from trusted Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Excel sources
  • Perform meticulous data transformation and cleansing using Power Query and DAX
  • Revamp existing dashboards to enhance performance, usability, and visual clarity
  • Implement robust user access controls based on provided flowcharts and user matrices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data models
  • Document report logic, data models, workflows, and processes in a clear and concise manner
  • Prepare weekly progress reports and escalate risks or blockers as needed
  • Stay current with the latest Power BI features and best practices through ongoing training and development

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development with a strong portfolio of dashboards
  • Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and data modeling
  • Experience working with trusted data sources such as Azure SQL and Excel-based data sources
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and UX design
  • Ability to manage client relationships professionally and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Streamlit
  • Familiarity with Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
