About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Softball/Baseball Coach to join our Eagle Club team at Singapore American School. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for leading our softball/baseball program and developing the skills of our student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive softball/baseball program that aligns with the school's mission and values
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a team of student-athletes who demonstrate a passion for the sport and a commitment to excellence
  • Design and deliver training sessions that cater to the needs of our student-athletes, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all
  • Manage and maintain equipment, facilities, and resources to ensure a safe and effective training environment
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and respectful team culture that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, such as sports management, coaching, or education
  • National Federation High School softball coaching certification (or equivalent)
  • High School Varsity level playing experience (or equivalent); Pitching/Catching experience preferred
  • Minimum two years Head Coaching experience at youth or High School level
  • American Red Cross First Aid & CPR certification (or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
