Fire Prevention Specialist

Job Title:
Fire Prevention SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Fire Prevention Specialist to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of fire safety standards in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor fire control room systems
- Conduct regular fire safety patrols of airline house and hangar complex
- Respond to fire alarm activations or emergencies
- Serve as firewatcher during hot work operations
- Report, record, and communicate all fire safety incidents
- Attend, support, and facilitate fire evacuation drills
- Maintain accurate patrol records and incident logbooks
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience as an operational firefighter with SCDF, AES, or Industrial Fire Brigade
- Physically fit and able to respond to fire incidents and emergencies effectively
- Familiarity with fire alarm and suppression systems in large buildings or aviation environments is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of Singapore Fire Safety Act, SCDF regulations, and relevant Codes of Practice
- Attentive, reliable, and able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Able to operate inspection tools, tablet computers for reporting, and communication devices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
