The primary role of the Backend Developer and DevOps Engineer is to design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable backend systems using Python/Django. This includes gathering requirements, documenting designs, and implementing solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing technical quality in all aspects of project delivery, adhering to SDLC guidelines, and collaborating with Enterprise Architects to ensure application solutions delivered comply with established enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Gathering requirements, documenting designs, and implementing solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
- Designing and developing efficient and scalable backend systems using Python/Django.
- Enforcing technical quality in all aspects of project delivery, adhering to SDLC guidelines.
- Collaborating with Enterprise Architects to ensure application solutions delivered comply with established enterprise standards.
- At least 10+ years of experience in technical hands-on experience on development and implementation.
- A bachelor's in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field with strong education in web technologies.
- Experience in supporting implementing large-scale, highly available applications or large project implementation.
- Experience working on Linux/Unix platforms, Shell scripting.
- Experience in Dev-Ops concepts, practice, and tools.
- Experience with Python/Django based backend frameworks.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid experience in solutioning and system design.
- Experience in designing and implementing integration with MQ, microservices, and high-volume batch processing.
- Experience with a variety of source control and development tools.
- Excellent analytical skills (critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills) with a history of driving the development of large software components.
