Job Opportunity:

 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Therapy Assistant.


As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting therapists in all activities of therapy treatment. This includes assisting with patient transfers, setting up equipment for treatment, and maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the department.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and possess good communication skills. Experience in a healthcare setting is an added advantage.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting therapists in all activities of therapy treatment
  • Transferring / Portering of patients
  • Performing equipment setup for treatment, inventory control and administrative duties
  • Maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the department
  • Interacting with patients and taking care of patients during their therapy programs


Required qualifications include a WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support), or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services. The ability to stand for long durations is also essential.
