**Job Description:**We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Model Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) in the healthcare sector.
**Responsibilities:As an AI Model Architect, your key responsibilities will include:• Technical leadership through collaboration with project leads and working partners• Setting up the technical direction for foundation model architecture, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation strategies• Overseeing the integration architecture of clinical data sources and healthcare systems for continuous model development and outcome delivery• Monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes of various workstreams, while overseeing overall engineering efforts across the program• Data architecture and engineering (data curation, data pipelines, annotation, quality control)• Infrastructure and high-performance compute resource planning, provisioning, and distributed training environments management• Agile tech execution management in partnership with product/project lead• Implementing a lightweight agile framework to manage engineering progress across distributed and cross-organizational teams• Facilitating regular standup, planning sessions, retrospectives, and cross-team alignment meetings for engineering efforts• Tracking tech deliverables, dependencies, and risks using agile tooling (e.g., Jira)**Required Skills and Qualifications:**To succeed in this role, you must have:• At least 6 years' experience in engineering leadership roles, ideally in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data-focused areas• Proven experience with LLM or foundation model development, including architecture and training• Practical understanding of evaluation and validation workflows for LLM models• Modern LLM/ML development tools and stacks (e.g., PyTorch, HuggingFace, MLFlow)• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional tech teams• Hands-on experience leading agile development in distributed setups• Strong coordination, prioritization, and risk management skills across concurrent workstreams**Benefits:**Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract, renewable.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.**What You Need to Know:**If you are passionate about clinical trials and research, we want you to join our team.
