About the Role

This is a critical position within the Accounts Receivables function, specifically in Student Finance. The team is responsible for managing the entire spectrum of student tuition fee invoicing and collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • The incumbent will lead a team and oversee postgraduate fee billing, revenue collection, journal posting, and ensure complete revenue recognition in accordance with University and standard accounting guidelines.
  • They will be responsible for governing the debts recovery process, overseeing General Ledger reconciliation, and preparing statistics reports for the University and stakeholders.
  • Additionally, they will support functional process improvement and streamlining to align with the University's mission and vision, driving efficiency in operations.
  • Closely collaborating with various stakeholders on projects such as system implementation will also be a key aspect of this role.
Requirements
  • A degree in Accountancy or ACCA, accompanied by 5-8 years of relevant working experience.
  • SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience in system implementation and process improvement is essential.
  • Prior experience with automation tools, such as Power Query or automation, is preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience is necessary.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure is crucial.
  • Service-oriented individuals who are hands-on, meticulous, analytical, and possess initiative are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and IT literacy are essential.
  • Independence and strong problem-solving skills are also required.
