Job Title: Executive Sous Chef
\Culinary excellence is our passion. We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic team in Singapore.
\As an Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, supervising a team of junior chefs, and maintaining high food quality and presentation standards.
\The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant kitchen position and strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor junior chefs. You will work closely with the Head Chef to plan and direct food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet exceptional quality and presentation standards.
\Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting in daily kitchen operations, including preparation and plating of dishes\
- Supervising kitchen staff, including commis chefs and demi chefs, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and maintain high-quality standards\
- Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards, consistently delivering exquisite and refined plates\
- Contributing to menu development and innovation, providing input on new ideas and ensuring they align with our culinary vision\
- Overseeing food preparation and cooking within your section, ensuring all dishes are executed with precision and in line with our culinary vision\
- Ensuring consistency in service, making sure dishes are consistent in quality, texture, and presentation\
- Overseeing stock control and inventory, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, stored correctly, and used efficiently to prevent waste while maintaining high-quality standards\
- Ensuring hygiene and food safety compliance, maintaining the highest cleanliness standards in the kitchen\
- Training and mentoring junior staff, teaching techniques, standards, and maintaining our culture of excellence\
- Assisting with cost control and waste management, monitoring portion sizes, ingredient usage, and waste to help manage kitchen costs effectively\
- Handling special dietary requests or restrictions, ensuring dishes are adapted without compromising quality, flavor, or presentation\
- Contributing to the maintenance of kitchen equipment, ensuring everything is in working order and adhering to safety protocols\
- Leading during high-pressure service, ensuring efficient operation, effective communication, and quick resolution of any issues\
- Communicating with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth communication and accuracy of orders\
