Job Title: Senior Accountant

LTP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing full sets of accounts and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full sets of accounts and support day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management.
  • Prepare and review closing journals for responsible entities.
  • Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e. AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.).
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support the Client's financial activities.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.
  • Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal.
  • Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
  • Prepare or review payments for staff claims and vendor invoices.
  • Prepare and check bank reconciliations and intercompany postings.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly GST/VAT reports for filing.
  • Assist in annual budget process.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or an equivalent professional certification.
  • At least 5 years of financial or accountant experience.
  • Meticulous and able to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with financial software, MS Office.
  • Preferred but not a must:
  • Experience in Quickbooks.
  • Experience in a Big 4 firm.
  • Consolidation of accounts experience.
  • Fluent command of English and Mandarin (written & spoken).
