Adult English Language Professor

English Language Instructor
We are seeking a qualified English language instructor to deliver high-quality lessons to adult learners. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and classroom management skills, as well as experience teaching in a multicultural environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct engaging and level-appropriate English lessons for adult learners
• Teach a range of courses including General English, Business English, Exam Preparation, and Conversation and Speaking Confidence
• Create lesson plans and select materials aligned with learner needs and CEFR levels
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate progress reports
• Contribute to curriculum improvement and in-house training when applicable
• Conduct trial lessons and placement assessments as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above (preferably in English, Linguistics, Education or related fields)
• Recognised English teaching qualification (CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching adult learners (in-person or online)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Comfortable teaching both group and private lessons
• Positive, professional, and adaptable to diverse student backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching in Singapore or a multicultural environment
• Familiarity with CEFR, IELTS or other proficiency standards
• Ability to teach additional languages (e.g. Japanese, Spanish, French, Chinese) is a plus
