Job Summary

We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support daily purchasing and inventory tasks. Key responsibilities include handling purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, monitoring stock levels, and driving cost-saving efforts. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience, excellent negotiation skills, be highly organized and proactive.

Roles & Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing:

  • Manage purchase orders, invoicing, and related documentation.
  • Source new suppliers and identify potential new products.
  • Qualify new vendors and evaluate alternative sources.
  • Ensure timely procurement to meet production and operational needs.

Supplier Management:

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance on a regular basis.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and support cost control efforts.

Inventory Management:

  • Control inventory of chemicals and general supplies.
  • Prepare and submit monthly procurement and inventory reports.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant purchasing or inventory control role.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory, material, or warehouse management is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
