Job Title: Senior Quantitative Insights Strategist

$250,000 - $350,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantitative Insights Strategist to join our Investment Insights Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing products and strategies to augment fundamental research using big/alternative data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop company and industry level insights to enhance company research deep dives
  • Transform best-in-class datasets into quantamental-based investment strategies and insights
  • Utilize quantitative methods, Machine Learning, and LLMs to deepen contextual augmentation, including forecasting key company KPIs and performance drivers using macro and/or alternative data sources
  • Drive impact to portfolio performance through effective communication and demonstration of impact to EQ's research analysts and portfolio managers
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics, with CFA preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in investing, Financial Modelling, or Quant Research role, ideally in a fundamental equities setting
  • In-depth knowledge of alternative datasets used for insights generation
  • Proficiency in Python or R
  • Experience in managing teams
