Role: Senior Programmatic Trader


Key Responsibilities:


Campaign Execution:



  • Deliver high-performing campaigns across a diverse portfolio of accounts in SEA
  • End-to-end campaign ownership and performance monitoring
  • Utilize data to inform buying decisions, driving overachievement of client-stated KPIs and internal profit objectives
  • Leverage insights to build client rapport and unlock incremental opportunities

Portfolio Management:



  • Deliver margin objectives and retain clients
  • Balance portfolio growth objectives with margin/profitability objectives across various campaign types
  • Grow campaign portfolio via surpassing KPIs, delivering insights, and building relationships
  • Utilize data, analysis, and trading expertise to deliver campaigns ahead of pace and maintain performance

Internal Collaboration:



  • Seamlessly communicate with commercial teams on product/capabilities positioning and growth strategy across multiple geographies
  • Take initiative to support others and deliver teaching/training sessions
  • Work closely with the Head of Trading & Operations in Singapore and the DnA team in Bangalore on Analytics projects in the region
  • Collaborate with MiQ global central departments to aid in ad operations, pre-campaign analysis, post-campaign insight reporting, and troubleshooting

External Communication:



  • Confidently create and deliver content for external meetings
  • Attend and participate in external meetings, delivering insight pieces and Q&A
  • Emphasize delivering actionable insights to clients via weekly commentary and end-of-campaign reports

Innovation:



  • Regularly utilize campaigns to test and implement innovative ideas
  • Maintain and evolve SEA trading/operational processes and best practices
  • Share results to encourage team-wide adoption of new insights, targeting tactics, optimization methods, and ways of working
  • Motivated by learning opportunities and inquisitive

Requirements:


Experience:



  • Minimum 2 years of experience with hands-on trading digital programmatic campaigns
  • Commercial experience – clear evidence of servicing advertisers to a high standard
  • Experience working in client-facing environments is advantageous
  • Strong experience and proven track record of optimizing programmatic campaigns in TTD, DV360, and Xandr – including full-funnel DR campaigns

Skills:



  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential
  • Technically and analytically astute within the field of digital programmatic trading
  • Ability to work with large datasets in Excel files and BI internal tools
  • Working knowledge of statistical models
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or Bonsai (especially) is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting ability, clear systematic approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and contribute within a team environment
