Kitchen Support Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kitchen Support Team Member to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting cooks with meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness of cooking appliances, and performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities- Assist cooks with meal preparation, including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
- Organize and store food supplies in kitchen, cold room, and storeroom.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
- Experience in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Able to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
- Passion for food and willingness to learn.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
