We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Valuation Expert to lead the execution of valuation engagements for businesses, tangible and intangible assets, and financial instruments.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading valuation engagements and developing commercial value drivers. They will also possess excellent academic background with a professional qualification in accounting/finance/CFA/FRM.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of valuation engagements for businesses, tangible and intangible assets, and financial instruments.
- Develop and analyse financial models to assess commercial data and create financial forecasts.
- Pitch for new work by preparing and presenting proposals to clients.
- Build and maintain client relationships before, during, and after engagements.
- Supervise and mentor associates and interns on valuation and valuation-related services.
- Work closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities.
- Excellent academic background with a professional qualification in accounting/finance/CFA/FRM.
- Minimum 5 years' valuation experience acquired with the valuation practice within an accounting and/or professional services firm.
- Strong grasp of business and intangible assets valuation concepts, with proficiency in financial instruments valuation.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers.
- A self-motivated individual who understands financial issues within a commercial context and is able to operate within a team environment.
