Job Description

  • Develop and implement an integrated 6-year curriculum in Physics and Engineering, inspiring students to love the subjects through teaching and role modeling.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of educational programs, adopting innovative pedagogies such as IT-enabled learning, differentiated learning, collaborative learning, and learner-focused interaction.
  • Mentor research projects, providing guidance to students and supporting their character development from age 12+ to 18 years old.
  • Participate in Co-curricular Activities (CCA) and form-teacher duties, contributing to the holistic education of high-ability learners.

Requirements

  • A good Bachelor's or higher Degree in Physics or Engineering.
  • Possession of a relevant professional teaching qualification (or Post-Graduate Diploma Education equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Competency in teaching Physics at GCE O-Level content or GCE A-Level H2 content.
  • Knowledge in Astronomy and ability to support Astronomy CCA are advantages.
  • Ability to drive and support the Head of Department in leading the department to design, implement, and evaluate an integrated 6-year Physics & Engineering curriculum.
  • Research experience in Physics or Engineering areas and ability to guide students in research projects are advantageous.
