Role Overview
Hardware Engineering SpecialistWe are seeking an accomplished Hardware Engineering Specialist to spearhead the design and development of innovative hardware solutions for next-generation optical transceivers and optical circuit switches.
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance hardware systems, ensuring seamless integration with software and system-level goals.
- Define hardware specifications, architecture, and interfaces, driving cross-functional collaboration and system-level integration of hardware components.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in hardware design, development, and testing, focusing on high-performance systems, embedded systems, or communications hardware.
- Proven experience leading complex hardware design projects from concept to production.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with hardware design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, OrCAD).
- Solid understanding of high-speed signal integrity and power integrity analysis and optimization.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital and analog ICs (CDRs, DSPs, SerDes, TIAs, DC-DC Converters, LDOs).
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of advanced optical module and optical circuit switch systems and circuit designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level hardware engineers.
- Document hardware designs, specifications, test procedures, and results to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge in IEEE 802.3 Ethernet and PCIe spec.
