Corporate Finance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions at both entity and group levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely payments from customers.
  • Liaise with credit insurance providers to secure optimal coverage and risk management for customer receivables.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts receivable function.
  • Evaluate and establish credit control policies for new and existing customers.
  • Review credit terms and conditions, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide regular updates on outstanding receivables to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate recording of customer payments and application to outstanding invoices.
  • Support month-end closing activities and annual audit processes.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit control, treasury management, or related financial roles.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and cash flow forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with leadership qualities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with credit insurance providers is an asset.
