Job Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to provide job support services to trainees, helping them achieve their career aspirations and develop the necessary skills for employment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct work readiness assessments and site visits to identify job duties and employer needs.
  • Actively involve trainees and caregivers in taking proactive steps in trainees' career development.
  • Facilitate the job search process between trainees, caregivers, and employers, including preparation of resumes, parental consent for interviews, arrangement of job interviews, and job orientation.
  • Coach trainees at worksites to fulfill required job tasks while incorporating social skills, communication skills, self-management skills, and etiquette skills necessary at work places.
  • Work closely with alumni to implement and review vocational goals and complete individual behavioral plans.
  • Mentor employers at different hierarchical levels to provide natural support for trainees at worksites.

Employer Engagement & Partnership:
  • Source new employers and employment opportunities.
  • Partnership networking.
  • Manage and maintain collaborative relationships with existing employers.
  • Function as the main point of contact and service for assigned employers.
  • Assess employer needs, deliver induction and education sessions, and obtain feedback on provided services.
  • Assist employers to access resources available to them.
  • Work closely with employers at different hierarchical levels to promote harmonious industrial relations and resolve worker-centric issues.
  • Provide consultation to stakeholders (trainees, caregivers, etc.) to help them gain a better understanding of different employers' needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Allied Professionals such as Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers to mediate and manage expectations.

Administration & Others:
  • Submit regular reports to supervisors.
  • Update records and waitlists.
  • Perform case management meetings.
  • Submit logs to supervisors.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
