Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

The successful applicant will be responsible for extracting, standardizing, and integrating data from various sources. They will also be expected to implement algorithms and methodologies based on state-of-the-art research in the field.

The Data Science Professional will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Co-investigators, and lab members on one or more research projects. They will be working with external collaborators on interesting and challenging real-world datasets and problem statements.

Responsibilities

  1. Development of engaging conversational agents to enhance cognitive impairment detection and management

  2. Data cleansing and processing for analysis of real-world datasets

  3. Development and implementation of machine learning algorithms for various problem statements

  4. Assistance with editing and preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations

  5. Participation in presentations and demos for exhibiting work at appropriate events

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on AI/Machine Learning/Big Data. Strong programming and application development skills, as well as experience in Python, Perl, and R, are essential.

Mastery of programming languages such as C/C++/Java, and experience with Tensorflow, would be a plus. Applicants should also be able to read and understand methodologies in research papers. Fluency in English and good teamwork skills are also required.
