Job Overview

A Vehicle/OBU Technician plays a vital role in ensuring seamless installation and maintenance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) devices. Key responsibilities include checking the relevant authority's website to confirm eligibility, handling device migrations and new installations, conducting on-site or in-house installation and removal of ITS devices, troubleshooting issues for eligible motorists, explaining identified problems and proposed resolutions, performing installations and removals as per guidelines, commissioning and decommissioning devices, submitting reports accurately and on time, maintaining proper inventory records.

Requirements
  • Possession of Nitec certification or higher in Engineering (preferably automotive engineering)
  • Previous experience in vehicle accessory installation and wiring
  • Class 2 or 3 driving license is preferred
