Data Strategist Role Overview

The Data Strategist for Large Language Models plays a pivotal role in overseeing the training of large language models with diverse coding datasets. This involves collaborating with technical teams to identify and address potential gaps, ensuring safety alignment through SFT/RL training and mitigation strategies.

  • Critical Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and rectify potential weaknesses, guaranteeing safety alignment through SFT/RL training and mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with the evaluation team to understand the impact of safety alignment trainings, refining the evaluation framework to better accommodate real-world scenarios.
  • Develop methodologies for data production and acquisition, ensuring high data quality while maximizing effectiveness and efficiency of data pipelines.

This position may involve exposure to potentially sensitive or harmful content. Support resources and resilience training will be provided to support employee well-being.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A deep understanding of AI agent safety challenges, including AI Search and tool use scenarios.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a product manager or product strategist.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
  • A strong interest in both LLMs and human behavior/experience/wellbeing, with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Collaborative team players who can effectively advocate for their ideas without being overbearing.
  • The ability to maintain attention to detail while staying focused on prioritized goals and the bigger picture.
  • Computer science background or coding skills are a plus.
