**Early Intervention Specialist Role**

The Department of Child Development provides diagnostic and intervention services for preschoolers with developmental, emotional, and/or behaviour needs.

  • We support children with conditions such as autism, speech and language disorders, global developmental delay, ADHD, anxiety, selective mutism, oppositional defiant disorders.
  • We place high emphasis on working with the child's family to facilitate the child's learning and development.

**Job Description**

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessments for diagnosis, deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, and work across disciplines to deliver transdisciplinary services.

You will have opportunities to be involved in research and service projects. Our ideal candidate has at least a Master Degree in Psychology (Clinical/Educational) with a practicum component.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Effective interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills, and good psychological report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably with working experience with young children and/or with children with autism.
