Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead firmware design, implementation, and optimization for embedded systems, ensuring functional and performance requirements are met.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware teams to integrate firmware with new or existing hardware components.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user manuals.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies in embedded systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, etc., with 5+ years of professional experience or combined equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability.
  • Proficiency in C or C++ for embedded systems.
  • Understanding of low-level programming and hardware interfacing.
  • Experience with one or more IDEs and debugging tools.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of real-time programming concepts and real-time operating systems.
  • Ability to write efficient code under resource constraints (memory, CPU).
  • Experience with embedded system testing practices.
  • Basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% internationally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
