**Job Description**

\

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

\

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery, and DevOps methodologies.

\

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure GCP landing zones from the ground up.\
  • Migrate diverse applications to the new GCP landing zone, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.\
  • Identify and implement cost optimization strategies, performance enhancements, and operational efficiencies within our GCP environment.\
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager to automate the provisioning and management of GCP resources.\
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to GCP, ensuring fast, reliable, and automated releases.\
  • Work closely with our existing Cloud Management team to build GCP knowledge, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative learning environment.\
  • Partner with the Security team to implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards within GCP.\
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for GCP infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance.\
  • Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues within the GCP environment.\
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform.\
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.\
  • Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is an added advantage.\
